Bikes stolen from Almonte Bicycle Works

Bill Barrie of Almonte Bicycle Works is grateful for any extra eyes and ears to help possibly locate four bicycles that were stolen from his business on Saturday, June 21st.

Last Saturday morning someone broke into the the “Haiti Bikes” showroom at the Almonte Bicycle Works on Bridge Street, and made off with four bikes (three of which are pictured here):

(1) Light green men’s upright rider with silver Beauty decals, 1970s, cork grips, hammered aluminum fenders (was slated to go on display at Gilligalou Bird in Almonte)

(2) Powdercoat orange medium 1980s rigid mountain bike with silver Beauty decals, orange grips

(3) Newly built medium Fuji blue and white Suncrest hardtail mountain bike, RockShox, disc brakes; and
