Cool rainy days notwithstanding, it’s certainly not too soon to be thinking about camp options for this summer. The April issue of theHumm features a three-page spread of local options (both day and overnight camps), with activities that range from creating art to spying, and from paddling to performing. Over the next week or two we will feature each of them here.
At the Wildlife Watchers Summer Day Camp, children ages 6–11 can spend their summer vacation outdoors and active at the beautiful Mill of Kintail Conservation Area! Each day of camp runs on a specific theme related to the natural environment. Campers will explore plants, wildlife, insects, habitats and aquatic life through a variety of games, activities, arts and crafts, stories and more!
