“Mudds Kidds” Offers Opportunities Onstage and Off

This summer, the Mississippi Mudds of Carleton Place will be running two summer camp programs, each ending with a show. The camps will give cast members the opportunity to learn acting, dance, singing, stage combat, and stage make-up, as well as everything else needed to put on a show. This camp will help boost confidence and build friendships, and is a great place to have fun. Participants don’t need to have any experience — they don’t even have to want to act; there are many great opportunities for all kinds of people backstage as well. The staff includes university theatre students and a MUDDS youth show director. Sessions run July 4–14 and July 17–28. For more details, email Kate Cooney.
